2-Foot Fish

Artist’s used leather shoes, pebbles, sock, foam, wood, metal. 21″× 10″× 6″/ 2019

I disassembled a pair of my favorite worn out shoes and using every piece of leather, cut and restitched them into a fish form complete with fins, tail, mouth, tongue and teeth. The laces from the shoes were separated down to their individual strands and used to stitch the entire fish.
